I met a few V-Strom riders today at a monthly event, the Ephrata First Sunday of the Month motorcycle rally. This gathering attracts hundreds of bikers from several states to the Ephrata Community Park in 17522. The American Legion post 429 located inside the park coordinates a breakfast, a refreshments stand and some contests. A few tents and plenty of business cards promote custom paint jobs. Today, I noticed Classic Harley Davidson of Reading, PA brought a truck and unloaded a few Buells for sale.

The owner of a local Suzuki dealer introduced himself to me while checking out my Suzuki gel seat and caribou luggage. He was kind to inform me that he was a V-Strom owner and always had a bunch of parts lying around. I saw three V-Stroms other than my own at the rally this morning; all three were 650’s.
